Update

Wednesday 3/27 – Thursday 3/28

Tuesday felt like spring with high temperatures from 40-50F on the hill.

Wednesday and Thursday will be similar to Tuesday with dry weather, high clouds filtering the sunshine, and afternoon high temperatures in the 40s.

With these warmer temperatures, look for firm snow in the morning, and then conditions will soften during the late morning and should become soft and sometimes slushy by afternoon.

Enjoy the warmth and don’t forget to apply sunscreen!

Friday 3/29 – Saturday 3/30

I am still expecting a change in the weather with snow and cold temperatures arriving early on Friday morning and continuing through late Friday night. Since I have more confidence that the storm will track over northern Colorado, I am going to lower my forecast from 3-6 inches to 2-4 inches of snow. The best chance to ski soft snow will be on Friday and also perhaps Saturday’s first chair.

Longer Range

Following dry weather from Saturday through Monday, we should see snow between late April 2 through about April 4. With more moisture, this system could deliver more significant snowfall compared to the upcoming storm on Friday, March 29.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
