The Dry Pattern Continues thru Friday...
Summary
We have a dry pattern through the weekend. The next system looks to stay off of the CA coast this week keeping us dry through Friday. We could see a shift in the pattern next weekend with the first storm moving into CA by next Saturday the 6th. The pattern could remain active into the 2nd week of March.
Update
Dry Pattern:
We have dry weather through the weekend and possibly through Friday, with no weather-related travel issues expected.
Next Weekend:
The pattern begins to shift by the end of the week. We could see a storm move in next Saturday the 6th and possibly linger into next Sunday. It is still too far out to know how strong or cold this system could be. Stay tuned all week as the details become clearer.
The active pattern may continue through the 2nd week of March. If you have travel plans through the Sierra starting the 6th through mid-month be sure to carry chains and be prepared for possible winter driving conditions.
