Dry Thru Sunday, Rain/Snow Possible Starting Monday...

Summary

We have a dry pattern through the weekend. Next week a couple of storms could bring snow to the Sierra but the timing and track is still uncertain. The pattern could remain active into the 2nd week of March.

Update

Drier Pattern:

We should see dry weather through the weekend with no weather-related travel issues expected.

Next Week:

We are tracking two storms for next week that could bring some snow to the Sierra. The forecast models are struggling with the timing & track of the 1st system. We could see light snow Monday-Tuesday, or it could hold off until Wednesday-Thursday. It could also miss us altogether.

Be prepared for possible winter driving conditions over the passes, especially at night Monday night and Wednesday night. We will continue to track this system and bring you more details as they become clearer.

There is better agreement that we could see a stronger storm by the end of next week into the weekend of the 6th. Stay tuned as we get closer.
