The Wait is Nearly Over

Summary

We've been more than patient waiting for a major winter storm and now it's starting to unfold. There will be a series of storms moving in from the Pacific Northwest beginning today for the Idaho Panhandle, then spreading further south and eastward across the state between tomorrow and early next week. Confidence is very high through Friday, then to a lesser degree on the timing of the weekend storm, so check back for updates. Regardless, we're looking for nearly a foot of snow in the next week across the southern stretches, but 2 to 4 feet for the Central Mountains and Panhandle respectively.
