Parade of snow storms coming to Idaho for the next 5 days

Summary

Light snow is expected fall at Southern Idaho ski resorts on Wednesday, Jan. 16. About 1-3 inches are expected, and then more snow is forecast Thursday through Tuesday of next week, with several inches expected every day at Bogus Basin, Brundage, Tamarack, Sun Valley, Soldier Mountain, Pebble Creek and Kelly Canyon. 12-20 inches are expected in the next 5 days. In North Idaho, the storms hit on Thursday and continue through the MLK holiday weekend. Schweitzer, Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass and forecast to receive 18-23 inches of snow in the next 5 days. There will be some wind associated with the storm systems. Overall, it's going to be a series of powder days through MLK weekend statewide.
