Here comes the snow! Powder day in Idaho!

Summary

The first significant snow storm is passing through Southern and Central Idaho on Thursday, and it delivered 6 inches at Sun Valley, 5 inches at Bogus Basin and Pebble Creek, 4 inches at Pomerelle, and 2-3 inches at Tamarack and McCall. This is the beginning of a lineup of storms that will be passing through Idaho through the MLK holiday weekend. The snow will be substantial nearly every day. The storms will be hitting North Idaho resorts today, with 3-7 inches expected and more overnight. Overall, the weather lords have increased their prediction over the next 5 days to about 2 feet of snow at Brundage, Tamarack, Bogus and Schweitzer, and 15-20 inches at Sun Valley, Pebble Creek, Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass. It's a powder skier's dream right now!
