Get out early for best snow on Wednesday

Summary

The new storm system that moved into Southwest Idaho and Central Idaho on Tuesday night is on the warm side, so get out early for the best conditions on Wednesday. In general, the forecast on Wednesday calls for snow before noon, and then a rain/snow mix this afternoon or just rain depending on location and temperatures. Highs are forecast in the high 30s to low 40s on Wednesday afternoon. In North Idaho, partly sunny skies are forecast with highs in the high 30s to mid-40s, for a spring skiing kind of day. At Pomerelle and Pebble Creek, cloudy skies with no precipitation are forecast with highs in the high 40s.
