Sunshine predicted for closing weekend at Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass

Summary

Lookout Pass reopens today through Sunday, and Silver Mountain reopens Saturday-Sunday for both of their final weekend of operations. No new snow in the last 48 hours. Partly cloudy skies are forecast on Thursday at Lookout with a high of 39 degrees. Wet weather is forecast on Friday with a high of 50 degrees, and then sunshine moves in over the weekend, with high temperatures forecast in the high 40s to around 50 degrees. Bluebird conditions are forecast at Sun Valley on Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s respectively. A weather system moves into Sun Valley on Friday night, bringing a chance of snow in the upper part of the mountain on Saturday and Sunday, highs in the 40s.

Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass, Lost Trail Pass, Sun Valley and Pebble Creek Ski Area have spring season pass sales going on for the 2019-2020 season. There's a short window of time to buy the passes at the fully discounted spring rates.  

Sun Valley plans to stay open through April 21. 

Silver Mountain will be closed during the week, and reopens on Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21. The Leadman ski-bike-run relay race at Silver Mountain is scheduled for April 20.  

Lookout Pass will be closed this week and reopens Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21 for a pond skimming event on April 21, plus Easter egg hunt and Beach Party Luau
