Sunny in places Friday; new snow this weekend to cap off the holiday

Summary

A little bit of new snow overnight in places will provide a soft cushion on the Idaho ski slopes on Friday. A warm front will blast through the state on Friday, bringing mostly sunshine and comfy temperatures to Southern Idaho ski areas, and cloudy/windy conditions to Northern Idaho ski areas. A solid dose of snow is forecast on Saturday-Sunday statewide, with more than a foot of freshies expected in Northern Idaho, and 6-10 inches of new snow at Tamarack and Brundage Mountain respectively. Several inches are forecast at Bogus Basin, Sun Valley, Magic Mountain and Pebble Creek, and Pomerelle could get up to 6 inches through Sunday. What a nice way to cap off the holiday with fresh snow!
