Big *pow* coming to Idaho, especially N. Idaho resorts

Summary

There's a series of storm systems lined up off the Pacific Coast, and the first wave is hitting Idaho on Monday, just as many people are going back to work after the holidays! What timing! A few inches fell overnight, and 10-14 inches of new snow is forecast at Schweitzer Mountain, Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass on Monday, and over 3 feet is expected through Friday. Temperatures are staying cool, but windy conditions are coming with the snow today, at least in N. Idaho. This is a subtropical system containing a lot of moisture. Brundage Mountain and Tamarack also will benefit from this storm system, with 12-18 inches of new snow forecast through Wednesday, and 3-8 inches at Bogus Basin. Who's calling in sick today! Ha!
