Huge *pow* coming to Idaho Friday-Sunday
Summary
A major series of snow storms will bring huge amounts of snow to Idaho's ski areas statewide this weekend. Snow quantities are being forecast on a scale of 12 inches a day or more at N. Idaho resorts, with a max of 38-42 inches expected. Winter Storm Warning is in effect nearly statewide at least through Sunday, and in S. Idaho, the WSW is forecast through next Tuesday. A similar scenario big *pow* scenario is unfolding at Brundage Mountain, Tamarack and Bogus Basin, with the first wave of the storm expected to bring up to 10 inches Friday night, then over a foot Saturday/Saturday night, and up to 18" on Sunday/Sunday night. All of Idaho's ski areas should benefit from this multi-day storm system. This will be a powder event to be remembered this ski season. Stay safe out there, bundle up and enjoy the fresh *pow*!
