Big *pow* coming to Idaho Tuesday night-Thursday

Summary

South of the Snake River, Pomerelle and Pebble Creek got hit with 15-16 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours. Should be one heck of a day today! Sunshine and cool temperatures with mild Northwest winds are forecast on Tuesday in most locations. And then a hum-dinger of a storm system moves in Tuesday night-Thursday, bringing a Winter Weather Warning to N. Idaho ski areas, and 1-2 feet of new snow. Forecasts improved for more snow at Brundage Mountain, with 15-29 inches expected through Friday, 6-13 inches at Tamarack, 4-9 inches at Bogus Basin and Pomerelle, and 6-11 inches at Pebble Creek by end of day Thursday. Temperatures will gradually warm up as the storms move in mid-week, but snow levels should remain well below base areas. Snowhaven near Grangeville could get 35 inches out of the storm cycle. They will be digging out for skiing/riding this weekend!
