Jackson Hole-Targhee Daily Snow
By Alan Smith, Meteorologist Posted 2 years ago August 22, 2022
Afternoon thunderstorm pattern continues
Summary
We're in a persistent cycle right now with thunderstorms firing up daily over the Tetons and surrounding ranges. This pattern will continue for most of this week, but storms will move in a more typical W to E direction compared to the atypical E to W direction we saw over the weekend. Rain will be hit or miss with brief downpours possible, but lightning will be the main hazard.
