Warm and Dry Pattern, Fire Season Re-Emerges

Summary

A dry pattern with above-average temps can be expected through at least the first 10 days of October. Fire activity flared back up near Togwotee Pass in recent days, and we have seen smoke fill into the JH Valley at times. On Mon, a cold front moving thru will cool us off briefly with wind keeping the smoke out of the valley. Smoky conditions likely return Tue with high temps back into the 70s.
