More snow and freezing rain on the way

Summary

Warm air won in the last storm system which busted the snow forecast. The good news is the next storm system on Thursday and Friday will give us another chance at snow accumulations of 6-12+ inches throughout the Mid-Atlantic with freezing rain in the south. This storm will exit the region Friday afternoon bringing lake-effect snow showers for the weekend.
