Coastal storm strengthens
Summary
A few scattered snow showers affect the northern half of the region Saturday with total snow accumulations of 1-2 inches. A weak coastal storm strengthens with light snow to the southern half and eastern parts of the region on Sunday. Total snow accumulations of 1-6 inches with the heaviest accumulations in Virginia.
