A True Montana Winter Returns this Week

Summary

Accumulating snowfall will occur daily this week as an upper-level trough ushers in several waves of Pacific moisture that will meet up with a cold Canadian airmass. NW Montana starts the week in best position for the most snowfall, but SW Montana looks prime for a very snowy end of the work week. Below average temps for most of the week as well. Unsettled skies likely for Pres’ Day weekend.
