Mild Through Sunday / Colder and Snowy Next Week

Summary

The Pacific upper-level trough responsible for the various weak disturbances this week will weaken as it moves inland on Thursday. This will be replaced by a weak high-pressure ridge, along with a mild zonal flow on Friday and Saturday. A major pattern change is in store beginning late Sunday as a Gulf of Alaska storm system brings cold temps and significant snowfall into Tuesday.
