Active week ahead especially for areas West of the Divide

Summary

Sunday night a vigorous system being driven by a subtropic river of Pacific moisture swings into Western Montana that should bring moderate amounts of wet snow at elevations 5000’ and above through Monday evening. East of the Divide will see some snow showers from the remnants of this system but maybe only a few inches at Big Sky, Bridger and Showdown. While rain (below 8000’) will be a factor at all West side resorts Tuesday thru Thanksgiving, East siders will see partly sunny days, but most importantly, be spared of any measurable base-melting rainfall.
