Snow. The Gift that Keep’s on Giving…

Summary

The snow continues Saturday morning across mainly the Central and Southern reaches of Montana’s Northern Rockies. Since Tuesday there have been amazing snow totals…49” at Lookout Pass, 36” Whitefish, 32” Snowbowl, 29” Lost Trail, 28” Big Sky (mostly last 2 days), 23” Showdown, 20” Disco, and 19” at Bridger. The skies clear out for Saturday and Sunday with some frigid temps, especially for NW Montana and areas East of the Divide where daytime highs will barely hit 5-above. Christmas Eve looks to start the giving once again… with another 3-6” possible across the Treasure State – with the only exception of NW Montana where maybe an inch may fall by the end of Christmas Day.
