Keep it coming!

Summary

More heavy snow for California, Utah, and Colorado this week. It's been a phenomenal season for most of the Collective Destinations and it will continue through at least the middle of March.

Short Term Forecast

Let's get started with the deepest reports from the Collective Resorts over the past 5 days.

Deepest 5-Day Totals

Aspen Highlands: 38 inches

Squaw Valley: 34 inches

Aspen Mountain: 32 inches

Snowmass: 30 inches

Alpine Meadows: 27 inches

This Week

The Western United States as a whole has been in a phenomenal snow cycle for the past two months and nothing will change for at least the middle of March.

This week will start quietly on Monday ahead of the snow machine cranking up over California on Tuesday, Wednesday, and into Thursday. Expect 1-2+ FEET at Mammoth and Squaw Alpine. Let the good times keep on rolling in California!

Further west, the Collective destinations in Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado will be back in the flow for Wednesday and Thursday. The Aspen Snowmass destinations received upwards of 3 FEET over this past weekend and they'll once again be receiving the goods for Thursday morning.

Jackson Hole and Alta/Snowbird will also receive healthy totals on Wednesday and into Thursday so there really aren't any bad choices this week!

Extended Forecast

Upcoming Weekend & Next Week

Looking for more? You got it as another cold storm will swing through the Intermountain West on Friday and into Saturday. If you can't get out this week, aim for ski Saturday morning at any of the destinations in Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.

It will then be back to even more cold snow as we look ahead to the week of Monday, March 11th. Expect more deep totals throughout the destinations in the West on March 11th, 12th, and 13th.

As always, stay tuned to the 1-10 day forecasts for all of the Mountain Collective destinations and our team of local forecasters for the latest updates.

Thanks for reading and look for my next update on Monday, March 11th.
