Colder temperatures return, plus snow showers for southern New England
Summary
More February-like weather returns to New England today. High temperatures will reach the upper 20s-lower 30s today under mostly cloudy skies. A low pressure system will move to the south of New England today, bringing upwards of 1-3” for resorts in central NY, southern VT, and western MA. Two mixed precipitation events are on the way for this weekend, with the first one arriving tomorrow afternoon. Saturday will remain mostly dry ahead of Sunday’s storm, which will bring brief snow showers that eventually turn over to rain.
