Snow (and some sleet) to ring in the New Year

Summary

Some mixed precipitation is expected over New England Friday and Saturday with mostly snow (and some sleet) expected over central and northern regions resulting in ~2-5" across VT/NH/ME with locally higher amounts in the mountains. Another shot of snow is expected on Monday that could deliver an additional 3-6".
