New England Daily Snow
By Plymouth State, Forecasters Posted 7 years ago February 6, 2017
Remaining hopeful for mostly snow
Summary
A complex system will arrive in New England this afternoon. For locations that see cold air remain in place, largely high elevations of the White Mountains, snow accumulations could exceed 6” through Wednesday. Most mountains will receive at least 4” of fresh powder, before a brief period of freezing rain or sleet overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. A small coastal storm will affect southern New England on Thursday, before a quick clipper system drops a few inches of snow on Saturday. Storminess continues into next week, but accumulations from these storms will remain to be seen until we get closer next week.
