Final Update for 2019-2020

Update

As most ski resorts are now closed for the season, the snowpack in the northern mountains continues to be well above average.

The graphics below show the snowpack compared to average. These images update daily through the season and are available to OpenSnow All-Access subscribers.

The orange line shows the actual snowpack during the 2018-2019 season and the black line is the average snowpack.

What is remarkable about this season is that the snowpack was generally near or above average for the entire year, and then we finished VERY strong with near record-breaking snowpack in some spots.

Below are graphics for the resorts in New Mexico, in alphabetical order (sorry, we do not have snowpack data for Ski Apache).

I hope that you had a wonderful season with many powder days.

Looking ahead, my best wishes for a fantastic summer, and I’ll see you back here in November 2019 when I start writing the New Mexico Daily Snow for the 2019-2020 season.

Thanks so much for reading and for your support of skiing in New Mexico and of OpenSnow.com!
