Multiple storms, snow Wednesday through Thanksgiving weekend

Summary

Sunday and Monday will be calm before a series of storms make for a cold and active Thanksgiving week. The first storm Monday night will bring very cold temperatures across the state and light snow in the northern mountains. A second storm Wednesday night will favor the southern mountains and a third storm Thursday night through Saturday will favor the central and northern mountains. All New Mexico ski areas should receive from 6 inches to a foot or more of snow from Wednesday through Thanksgiving weekend. The timing couldn’t be better as several New Mexico ski areas prepare to open Thanksgiving week and others in December.
