Game On for Powder Monday in Northern Sangres

Summary

Sunday was a fun storm ski and low-end powder day as part one of the current storm cycle dropped 2 to 7 inches favoring Taos, Red River, and Angel Fire. A second wave of 2 to 7+ inches of snow will come overnight Sunday (again favoring Taos, Red River, and Angel Fire). Monday morning's first chair will be a fun low-to-moderate-end powder day. Sunday nights snow will be blower pow so Monday morning has the potential to be very special. Bundle up as cold fronts overnight Sunday will bring coldest temperatures of the season so far. Snow showers will linger Monday with only light additional accumulation. Tuesday will be dry and bitter cold with negative wind chill. Wednesday and Thursday will be cool and dry. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be sunny and warm. Models continue to point to the potential for a stormy snowy pattern from around December 24th through the end of the year.
