Soft serve Friday! Next chance at low-end snow Thursday to Sunday

Summary

Thursday's storm delivered 2 to 5 inches across all mountains. Friday will be a gorgeous bluebird day with soft conditions and cold temperatures in the mid to high 20's. Saturday and Sunday will be the warmest days of the week in the high 30's and 40's, but breezy with occasional strong wind gusts. A fast-moving storm misses New Mexico to the north on Sunday night but will drop temperatures 10 to 15 degrees on Monday and Tuesday with windy conditions. Wednesday will be cold and calm. A low-end storm could bring light snow accumulations to New Mexico from Thursday through Sunday. A cold and stormy pattern sets up for the western half of the United States in mid to late January and New Mexico should at least be in play.
