Not much new snow this week

Summary

Don’t expect any major snowfall this week, but we may get a little on Monday (1-3”), then again, Thursday (2-4”). The snow will fall mainly at Whistler and the North Cascades of Washington (Baker & Stevens). The weather pattern continues with a flat high pressure area, offshore, shoving weak weather systems our way for Monday and again Thursday. There may be some sunbreaks between weather systems, while the snow levels will be moderately low in the 3,500 – 4,500 ft range, so the new snow will provide a only minor refresh.
