Quality new snowfall - Fantastic Friday?
Summary
A low off the NW coast will direct rain and snow into the Cascades on Thursday. Initially, the snow level will be a bit high at 5,000 ft. That means a rain/snow mix on the medium and lower slopes, for the first part of the day on Thursday. It will be rather sloppy. By afternoon cooler air starts to move in and the snow level will drop to 3,500 ft by evening, as light snow continues. Snowfall for the day and overnight will be 4-8”.
