Ugly, then almost epic
Summary
An active pattern with a mild southwesterly flow and an atmospheric river will bring in mild air and rising snow level on Friday. There will be abundant precipitation, initially mostly rain or rain-snow mix, then the snow levels plunge by later Saturday into Sunday with greatly improving conditions. In fact, the conditions will be outstanding by Sunday.
