Snow to Ice to Rain

Summary

Cold air will keep the snow conditions fresh for one more day on Thu, then big changes are on the way as a milder westerly flow with subtropical origins arrives. A storm on Fri-Sat will produce a wintry mess with snow initially, followed by freezing rain across the Cascades and adjacent lowlands with heavy ice accumulations expected. Eventually, we will change over to rain for most areas Sat-Sun.
