A somewhat active, somewhat messy pattern

Summary

The storm track will favor CA for strong storms over the next 10 days, while the PNW will see frequent but weaker storms. Warmer air arriving will also result in borderline snow levels for ski resort base areas with wet/dense snow expected for mid/upper slopes. Even so, snow is expected on a near-daily basis from Thursday on across the Cascades, while the Inland NW will see less frequent snow.
