Update

Thursday through Saturday

Thursday morning is again starting cold with temperatures near -5F at the base though it's warmer up on the hill with a temperature of about +15F. We’ll see sunshine all day with temperatures rising into the upper teens to low 20s.

Then sunny weather will continue on Friday and Saturday with afternoon highs in the low 30s, and we should see more clouds on Saturday afternoon as the next storm approaches from the southwest.

Snow Sunday and Monday

We should see clouds cover the sky on Saturday night with light snow showers starting, then expect snow on Sunday through Monday. My initial estimate is 3-6 inches and the temperatures will be on the warmer side, so the snow will likely be a bit thicker and surfy. The wind direction on Sunday will be from the southwest, which is not favorable for much snow, but then the wind will blow from the west and west-northwest on Sunday night into Monday morning, and this is more favorable for snowfall.

The rest of next week

Tuesday and Wednesday will likely be dry, then it still looks like our next chance for snow will be on Thursday into Friday, January 10-11th.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
