Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
Wednesday
We’ll start the day with very cold temperatures (near or below 0F) and with a dusting to an inch of new snow that fell on Tuesday and Tuesday night. It’s possible that we’ll see light snow showers on-and-off through much of Wednesday though accumulations should be very light due to the cold temperatures and a lack of moisture in the cold airmass.
Wednesday night through Saturday morning
A storm will track to the south of Colorado. This is not a favorable setup for intense snow and I am only expecting chances for lighter snowfall. The best chance for moderate snowfall and perhaps a few inches of accumulation will likely be Thursday night and later Friday into Saturday morning.
Sunday and beyond
We might see multiple waves of energy track across northern Colorado and this could bring multiple days of light snow through about February 28th. After that, we have a pretty good shot of seeing drier weather during the first few days of March with storminess potentially returning to Colorado starting around March 4-5.
