Update

End of the season

The atmosphere treated Steamboat to 2-5 inches of snow early on Saturday morning and I hope that you were able to get out and enjoy the last powder of the season!

Snow showers continued through Saturday afternoon, then we saw clear skies on Saturday night, and now on Sunday morning, skies are mostly clear as well.

The sunny weather should last through mid-morning on Sunday, then another wave of energy and moisture will move across northern Colorado during the afternoon, so expect more clouds and snow showers with possible light accumulations during the season’s final hours of Sunday afternoon.

Lifts will stop spinning for the season on Sunday afternoon, April 14, and so this will be my final forecast. I’ll write one more post on Monday, April 15th with a brief recap of the season.

Thanks for reading!
