Update

Wednesday was mostly sunny during the morning then we saw clouds arrive by the afternoon.

On Wednesday night, a fast-moving storm dropped 1-2 inches of snow on the mountain, and temperatures actually warmed during this time.

So now on Thursday morning, you’ll find an inch or two of soft snow on the groomers with more comfortable temperatures between 10-20°F.

From Thursday through Saturday, expect dry weather. There will be some clouds hanging around on Thursday, then Friday and Saturday should be mostly sunny. High temperatures will top out in the 20s on Thursday and reach the 30s on Friday and Saturday. Enjoy the sunshine and the warmth!

For next week, there will be two storms.

The first storm will bring snow from Sunday through Monday. There is a risk that this storm’s track trends too far to the south which could lower snow totals, but for now we’ll pencil in 5+ inches and a possible powder day on Monday.

The second storm will bring snow from Tuesday through Wednesday. There is a risk that this storm’s track trends too far to the north which could lower snow totals, but for now we’ll pencil in another 5+ inches and a possible powder day on Wednesday.

Looking far ahead, it’s likely that we’ll take a break from the snow and enjoy a week of dry and sunny weather from about Thursday, March 5th through about Wednesday, March 11th. After the 11th is when we’ll be watching for our next storm to move toward Colorado from the Pacific Ocean.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
