Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Temperature swings during the final three days of the season

Summary

Friday will be chilly, Saturday will be warmer, and Sunday will be chilly. It’ll be a rollercoaster until the end.

Short Term Forecast

Thursday was a gorgeous day with lots of sunshine, temperatures in the 30s and 40s, and breezy conditions during the afternoon.

Now on Friday morning, a storm just to our north is delivering cooler air. Temperatures at sunrise are only in the teens, and we will see readings stay in the 20s for most of the day and maybe reach the low 30s. The sky will offer times of clouds and times of sunshine, with a better chance for sunshine during the midday and afternoon hours.

On Saturday, we’ll swing back to warmer temperatures with highs in the 40s and maybe the low 50s. Enjoy the spring skiing and riding!

Then on Sunday’s closing day, another storm just to our north will drop temperatures a few degrees and we’ll likely stay in the 30s for most of the day.

Extended Forecast

Sadly, there is no extended forecast because the lift-serviced season will end on Sunday afternoon. Thanks so much for reading the Steamboat Daily Snow this season and I hope that you stayed healthy and found a few fun powder days during the last few months!
