Steamboat Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 3 years ago March 8, 2022
Another storm this week
Summary
We'll see snow on Wednesday and Thursday with significant accumulations.
Update
Monday was fun and soft thanks to the snow from Sunday night, and during the day on Monday, we saw 0-1 inches of new snow on the mid-mountain snow stake.
On Tuesday, there should be a mix of dry weather and some snow showers.
Then from Tuesday night through Wednesday, expect snow to fall during this entire time with powder on Wednesday morning and the snow getting deeper throughout the day. Total snowfall by Wednesday afternoon should be 10-15 inches.
On Wednesday night, snow should wane with maybe some leftover accumulation. Thursday morning will still be fun with soft snow from Wednesday and some fresh snow from Wednesday night.
Thursday and Friday will be dry with cold temperatures in the single digits and teens.
Saturday and Sunday will be dry and warmer with temperatures in the 20s.
Our next chance for snow will then arrive on Sunday night with potentially light-to-moderate snow amounts by Monday morning.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
