Powder day!

Summary

More than a foot of snow fell on Tuesday night and more will fall on Wednesday.

Update

We were looking for snow to ramp up on Tuesday night with powder on Wednesday morning, but I didn't think we'd get as much as we did on Wednesday to start the day. The Wednesday 500am snow total is 10 inches at mid-mountain and 15 inches at the summit.

And the additional good news is that snow will fall throughout the day on Wednesday with at least another 4-8 inches.

On Wednesday night, most models show snow winding down, though, with cool temperatures in the single digits and a light wind from a favorable westerly direction, I would watch the snow stakes to see if more than expected snow falls on Wednesday night.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be mostly dry days, though we could see a snow shower each day with limited to no accumulation. Temperatures on Thursday and Friday will be chilly with highs in the single digits and teens. Then on Saturday and Sunday, we will warm up with high temperatures in the 20s.

Our next chance for snow will be on Sunday late afternoon and Sunday night with perhaps a few inches of accumulation in time for Monday morning.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
