Steamboat Daily Snow

DEEP
Summary
Wednesday was an amazing powder day, and there will be soft and deep leftovers on Thursday morning.
Update
Wednesday was an incredible day with 10-15 inches on the mountain in the morning and another 10-15 inches falling during the day. The storm outperformed all expectations and delivered the fluff that we love!
On Wednesday night, another 3-4 inches fell across the mountain, so now on Thursday morning, there will be some new snow on top of the deep, soft snow from Wednesday.
Thursday will be cold with high temperatures in the single digits. This should help to preserve the midweek powder.
Friday will also be cold with high temperatures in the single digits, though, with clearer skies, the mid-March sunshine can quickly moisten the snow and turn it mushy, especially on south-facing and non-shaded slopes.
Saturday and Sunday will be sunny and warm with high temperatures in the 20s. The snow surface will likely turn moist during the day and then firm up and become crusty at night.
On Sunday night, snow will return thanks to a strong yet fast-moving storm. Snowfall should be in the 2-6 inch range and there will be soft turns on Monday morning on the groomers or any shaded north aspects that didn't get too warm during the weekend.
Looking further ahead, more snow is likely during the end of next week, around March 17-19, with another storm, or series of storms, sometime between March 21-24.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
