Simple Forecast

Summary

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be dry and sunny, then we'll see snow on Sunday night.

Update

Thursday offered deep and soft leftover powder across the mountain. We saw a few snow showers during the day, then skies mostly cleared on Thursday night.

Now on Friday morning, temperatures are COLD with readings below 0°F. Dress warmly!

On Friday, the March sunshine will help us to warm a little bit with temperatures rising into the upper single digits and low teens.

On Saturday and Sunday, it will feel more like springtime with highs in the 20s to low 30s and lots of sunshine. The warmer temperatures will turn the snow softer and mushier, especially on south-facing slopes and lower-elevation slopes.

On Sunday night, a fast-moving storm will drop 2-6 inches of snow between very late afternoon on Sunday and early morning on Monday. This means that there will be some fresh snow to enjoy on Monday morning, though it won't be enough to cover any leftover crust that formed from the snow that turned soft and mushy on Sunday.

Looking further ahead, there will be a storm around March 16-17 and again around March 20-21. At the moment, neither storm looks like it will bring significant snow, but that can change as the systems are still 5-10 days away.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
