Steamboat Daily Snow

More storms on the way
Summary
The current storm is mostly over, though there will be more chances for snow on Thursday night and again starting on Sunday.
Update
Tuesday turned out to be a snowy day as we expected with 4-7 inches of accumulation and soft conditions. Then we saw another 1-2 inches of snow on Tuesday night.
Now on Wednesday morning, there will be soft snow from Tuesday's leftovers plus the little bit of new snow that fell on Tuesday night. Weatherwise on Wednesday, we'll see a mix of clouds, snow showers, and maybe some breaks of sunshine.
Thursday will be sunny and dry with a high temperature in the 30s.
Our next chance for snow will be on Thursday night when a storm should deliver 2-5 inches just in time for Friday morning's first chair. The wind direction from the west and the jet stream overhead are both favorable, so there is a chance that we could wind up with a high-side surprise.
Looking ahead, Saturday will be dry, sunny, and warm with a high temperature in the 30s to low 40s.
Then our next chances for snow will be from Sunday into Monday and again on Tuesday. I have low confidence in the details of these systems, but Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be days to watch for potential powder.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
