Calming down

Summary

Tuesday was very windy with a bit of snow. The rest of the week will trend toward calmer weather.

Update

Tuesday was a very windy day with gusts of 50-70mph at the summit. We also saw some snowflakes, but the wind was the major story.

Now on Wednesday morning, the sun is coming out, temperatures are chilly in the single digits and teens, and winds are still strong at the summit, but not as fast as Tuesday.

During the day on Wednesday, expect mostly sunny skies, high temperatures in the teens to low 20s, and still some gusty summit winds that could affect lift operations.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be calmer and warmer with a high in the 20s to low 30s on Thursday, a high in the 30s on Friday, and a high in the 40s on Saturday.

Sunday is closing day, and the weather could be a little bit of everything with some sunshine, some showers, and some gusty winds, all due to a storm approaching from the west.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
