Snow starts on Monday and continues for 5-7 days

Summary

Following dry weather during the weekend, we will head into a multi-part storm cycle with snow Monday into Tuesday, Wednesday into Thursday, and additional accumulations likely through March 26th.

Update

Sunday was a sunny day with comfortable high temperatures that rose into the 20s (a few spots were warmer, and a few spots were colder).

Now on Monday morning, the mid-mountain snow stake is dry, though the first wave of snow from our upcoming storm cycle is just about arriving now as of sunrise on Monday.

The first part of the storm will bring snow from Monday through Tuesday morning with 5-10 inches of accumulation. There could be some powder on Monday's last chair, though the best powder will likely be on Tuesday morning's first chair.

The second part of the storm will bring snow from Tuesday midday to Thursday morning with 6-12+ inches of accumulation and gusty winds on Wednesday afternoon. The best powder could be Wednesday midday and afternoon and also on Thursday morning.

The third part of the storm should bring snow showers on Thursday and Friday. These days could be sneaky deep if lingering storm energy and lingering moisture combine in just the right way, though it is best to keep expectations low and we'll try to narrow down the details early this week.

For the weekend of March 25-26, there will be another storm here in Colorado though the details are still to be determined.

Monday and Tuesday, March 27-28 should be dry as we will be in between storms.

Then March 29-31 is when we could see our next storm, though again, the details are still to be determined.
