Steamboat Daily Snow

Spring has sprung
Summary
Tuesday will be hot and sunny, Wednesday and Thursday will be a bit cooler with more clouds and showers, then we will see snow from Thursday night to Saturday morning.
Update
Monday was a perfect spring day with sunny skies and a high temperature from the mid-40s to the mid-50s.
Tuesday will be another perfect spring day with sunny skies and a high temperature in the 40s and 50s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be transition days with more clouds, maybe a few showers, and gusty winds. High temperatures will stay warm with readings in the 40s. We could see dust blow from the southwest into Colorado during these days as well.
From Thursday night to Saturday morning, I expect 4-8 inches of snow and this will remind us that winter in the mountains always hangs on through April (and often into May). Snow will fall from Thursday night through Friday night and we'll likely see some powder conditions during the day on Friday with a high in the 20s. Also, snow showers could hang on through Saturday morning, so we might start Saturday with a bit of colder powder before the sun comes out and quickly turns the new snow to mush.
After the storm, Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16 will be mostly sunny with a high of around 30°F on Saturday and a high of around 40°F on Sunday.
