Thursday

Following Wednesday's dry weather, the next storm delivered snow on Wednesday night.

As of Thursday at 5 am, the accumulation was 3 inches at mid-mountain and 5 inches at the summit.

An additional 2-5 inches of snow should accumulate through Thursday midday, so conditions should be soft and fun during the morning.

Thursday's high temperature will be in the upper teens to low 20s, and the afternoon should be dry as the storm moves away from Colorado.

Friday

Friday will be dry, sunny, and warmer with a high temperature of 30-35°F.

Saturday

Saturday will start with dry weather and a high temperature in the mid-20s. Then during Saturday midday and afternoon, the next storm will approach Colorado and should deliver a coating to a few inches of snow by the afternoon or early evening.

Sunday

Sunday could be a powder day with 3-6+ inches of new snow for the first chair and perhaps some additional accumulation during the morning. There is some upside potential to this storm as the system will rapidly strengthen just after it crosses Colorado and there should be plentiful moisture in the air. The high temperature on Sunday will be in the teens.

Longer Range

On Monday and Tuesday, snow showers may continue with light additional snow accumulation, and the high temperature will be in the teens.

Wednesday and Thursday could trend toward dry weather.

And then there will be a chance for another storm starting on or around January 10.
