Wednesday Night Recap
On Wednesday night, a surge of moisture produced 3 inches of snow at mid-mountain and 5 inches of snow at the summit. This was on the high end of the forecast range.
Thursday (Mar 6)
On Thursday, there should be a lull in the snow during the morning, and skies should be mostly cloudy with a high temperature in the 20s.
On Thursday afternoon and Thursday night, intense snow showers should deliver 3-6 inches of accumulation, along with possible lightning strikes.
Friday (Mar 7)
On Friday morning, the snow that fell on Thursday afternoon and evening should create some powder, and the temperature should be in the upper teens to low 20s.
On Friday, snow showers could hang around during the morning and midday with another few inches of accumulation. Then the snow should wind down by Friday afternoon and evening.
Longer Range
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (March 8-10) will be dry, with a high temperature in the 20s on Saturday and in the 30s on Sunday and Monday.
On Tuesday and Wednesday (March 11-12), a weaker and fast-moving storm should bring some snow.
From Thursday to Saturday (March 13-15), a stronger and slower-moving storm could create powder days on Friday and Saturday.
And then, toward mid-March, the fifth storm of the month could deliver snow around Wednesday, March 19.
