Friday Recap
On Friday, 6-8 inches of snow accumulated across the mountain, and then on Friday night, another 2 inches fell.
Saturday (Mar 15)
Saturday morning's conditions will be soft due to the snow from Friday and Friday night.
For snowfall on Saturday, there should be a mix of no-snow and snow showers during the day.
And then, during the afternoon, evening, and at night, the next wave of storm energy will track across Colorado and should create more intense snow showers with the chance for 1-5 inches of accumulation.
Sunday (Mar 16)
Sunday should offer another morning of soft snow due to the new snow that accumulates on Saturday night.
On Sunday, temperatures will rapidly warm during the late morning and midday with a high of around 30°F, and the sunshine and warming temperatures will likely impact the snow quality during the second half of the day.
Next Week
Monday (March 17) will be dry and warm, with a high temperature in the upper 30s.
On Tuesday (March 18), snow should fall during most of the day, with 3-5 inches of accumulation and softening conditions. And on Tuesday night, another 3-5 inches should accumulate.
Wednesday (March 19) will likely start with powder due to the snow that fell on Tuesday and Tuesday night. There could be a few snow showers during the morning, and then the rest of the day should be drier with a high temperature of around 20°F.
Looking ahead, the next storms should be around Friday, March 21, between Saturday, March 22, and Monday, March 24, and then sometime around March 29-31.
