Friday Recap

Friday started with 1-2 inches of new snow, and snow showers hung around during the morning. Then the rest of the day was partly sunny with a high temperature in the upper 20s.

Saturday (March 22)

The latest storm arrived on Friday night and delivered 2 inches of snow at mid-mountain and 3 inches at the summit by 5 am on Saturday.

This is a pretty warm storm with on-mountain temperatures in the 20s to near 30°F, so the snow quality will likely be on the thicker side.

For the first half of Saturday, steady snow should continue with 3-5 inches of accumulation.

Then during Saturday afternoon and and Saturday night, the snow should become more showery with just a light additional accumulation of a coating to 2 inches.

Sunday (March 23)

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures starting around 20°F and rising to around 30°F by the afternoon. The conditions in the morning could be somewhat soft due to the snow on Saturday and lingering showers on Saturday night.

Monday (March 24)

On Monday, storm energy will track just to the north of Colorado, and this should create partly to mostly cloudy skies with a few snow showers. The high temperature should be in the mid-to-upper 30s.

Tuesday (March 25)

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warm with a high temperature in the 40s.

Wednesday (March 26)

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and even warmer with a high temperature in the upper 40s.

Thursday (March 27)

Thursday will be partly to mostly sunny and continued warm with a high temperature in the upper 40s.

Friday (March 28)

As a storm approaches, Friday should be cloudier and cooler with a high temperature in the mid-30s.

Saturday & Sunday (Mar 29-30)

The next storm will likely bring at least some snow during the weekend of March 29-30, and temperatures on both days should be in the 30s.
